Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog :)
This post is one of my last ones :( But I want to share with you six adjectives when I think about the book SLAM and the last weeks of english lessons.
Here are my six adjectives:
Fateful: For me fateful counts to the adjectives, when I think about this book, because it can simply happen to everybody and suddenly everybody can be in such a situation. This book is rousing.
Confusing: At the beginning I asked me, why Sam reacts like this, but the more we occupied us with the book the more it seemed to me realistic and not confusing anymore like at the beginning. Nevertheless I not always came completly along.
Frightening: I find it bad that it can go so fast. In the book Alicia is Sam's first girlfriend and they have sex for the first time and she's pregnant. I think for every girl in this age it's inconceivably to become pregnant and certainly most are afraid of this.
Interesting: I personally think it is still very interesting how somebody feels in such a situation (from both sides) and which decisions this person has to make.
Detailed: On my opinion the book is written very detailed, but so one can well imagine himself in Sam and understand his acting. But at some points I think it's written too detailed.
Comprehnsible: I can understand the reactions of the characters very well in this situation and while reading this book I was asking myself some questions like : How my parents would react? or What would I do? The whole acting of the persons is understandable and clear.
When we started with this book at school I was very sceptical first, also what concerns the blog, but finally I think it was a good project and it's sad, that we're almost at the end. :(
Hope you like it :)
See you guys,
Julie <3

Hey Julie,
AntwortenLöschenI really like the adjectives you chose and I also really liked that you explained them to us!:)I can relate to all of them but the one I found very interesting is 'frighten'; I never thought about the novel in that was!
And yeah, you're right. It's a little sad that this is one of our last (or maybe the last) blog entry:(
Love,
Cansu
