Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog :)
Today I'll talk a bit about the main character Sam, who's my favorite character at the same time.
SAM:
(For me Sam looks like that)
Sam is the protagonist of this book and the book is written from his
perspective. From his actions until now, he seems to behave like any other
teenage boy at his age. It’s clear that he’s insecure about his feelings and
about himself, because it seems like he doesn’t really know what he wants in
his life. For example, he felt in love with a girl and he was convinced that
those strong feelings would last forever, but after a while he proved himself
the opposite. He explained that his feelings for Alicia were just suddenly gone
and that seemed to be really unrealistic. Although, Sam tried to convince
himself that there wasn’t a real reason to break up with Alicia, it didn’t seem
to be real. It’s unbelievable that he loved and adored her at one moment and
then the next second she appeared to be boring to him. But his insecurity can be
understandable in a way, because Alicia was probably his first real girlfriend
and all those feelings were unfamiliar to him. That was probably the reason why
he became unsure about his feelings.
Alicia didn’t even seem to be the kind of girl that would be interested to date
a boy like Sam, because her personality seemed to be too different from Sam’s. For
example, she appears to be very outgoing and confident, meanwhile Sam seems to
be more of a shy and inward type. Even though Alicia isn’t as well described as
Sam, it’s possible to guess that she is more experienced when it comes to
dating.Sam is very friendly, calm and talented, but he's just overtaxed. He has got sex with his girlfriend Alicia for the first time and now he's becaming father. He doesn't know the right decisions and everything seems to be too much.
My favorite character of the book "Slam" is Sam, because he does what he wants, stays strong and helps Alica when he finds out that she's pregnant. But I don't like to be one of the characters of the book, because all of the main characters have so many problems that I don't want to deal with. I mean if I, for example, was Sam then I would have problems in form of the baby, my girlfriend, my family, my future, school, the parents of Alica and many other things. Basically I think that the whole situation in the book is very complicated.
Hope you like it :)
See you guys,
Julie <3

Dear Elisa,
AntwortenLöschena solid entry in which you precisely sum up the character differences between Alicia and Sam. You could have made use of examples and specific situations, though. This would improve readability and strengthen your arguments.
A few errors, please have a look and correct them:
"...and now he is about to become >>>a<<< father"
"...because they have different opinions about her future"
"...because he does what he wants"
